WHAT IS A GENERAL CONTRACTOR?
A general contractor is the prime contractor responsible for most of the work at the construction site. Including all work carried out by subcontracted trade partners. The general contractor oversees all aspect of the job and verifies everything is done as detailed on drawings, defined by building codes and are within industry standards.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET AN ESTIMATE?
Our goal is to be on-site for a consult either the same day or within 48 hours pending geographic location. Written estimates are provided for all work.
HOW LONG IS AN ESTIMATE GOOD FOR?
Generally we hold prices for 30 days. When the markets are volatile, sometimes we can only hold prices for a week.
WHAT IF A JOB GOES OVER SCHEDULE?
With any remodeling project, you can’t see everything until exposed. We over-communicate every exception we see and involve you in the process and solution. Any changes are discussed prior and agreed upon by you prior to us taking any action.
HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL FOR JOBS?
We service Brampton, Mississauga, GTAÂ and surrounding areas. Please contact us if you are not within these areas and we can see if accommodations can be made.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I PLAN FOR OVER RUNS?
On new construction projects, 10% is a good number. On remodeling projects 10% – 15% is best. If you don’t need it, all the better. But it's better to be prepared than surprised.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE THE DIRTY WORK ?
We always aim to leave the job site cleaner than when we arrived. Of course, what we do can be dirty. We cover all areas when painitng, broom sweep and or vacuum the work area to get any possible debris. Any mess we create will be cleaned by our team. Garbage and disposal of materials broken down from job site can be disposed by our team for additional cost. Please let us know if this will be required or you've got it covered!

I’ve been a leading General Contractor since 2010. Although I have a specialization in windows and doors, I have an extensive 'tool-box' of knowledge in various construction elements and i'm ready to tackle anything from complex and large scale projects to minor repair jobs.
WHAT IS A REPLACEMENT WINDOW?
A replacement window is a window that is built specifically to fit inside the opening of an existing window. It can be installed without damaging the interior or exterior areas around the window.
HOW CAN I TELL IF I NEED NEW WINDOWS?
There are a number of common signs that will help you identify if it’s time for new windows. Noticing they are difficult to open or close, the presence of excessive condensation, air leaks, chipped or peeling paint, and difficulty maintaining your desired temperature in your home are all signs it may be time for new windows.
DO I NEED TO BE PRESENT FOR THE INSTALLATION PROCESS?
Whether it is the home owner, a family member or a friend, yes we do require having someone present to give us access to the home as well as answer any question that may come up.

WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME FOR RENOVATIONS?
This varies from job to job. But roughly if you are looking to do a full basement renvoations 4-6 weeks if there a no delays with supply chains. If so this time line will be extended. We
will communicate this to you in advance once we are aware this is going to be the situation.
WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME FOR INSTALLATION OF WINDOWS AND DOORS?
If you are looking to remove and install 1-window it roughly takes about 2hrs. Larger projects with more windows will take more time. If you are looking to remove, install and complete a house door it roughly takes about 4-5 hrs.
These are rough estimates and delays are to be expected for unforeseen things that may occur especially if you have older homes.

HOW OFTEN DO I NEEDÂ REPLACEMENT WINDOWS?
Depending on the material, maintenance, and climate, most window last. anywhere from 15 to 30 years. Vinyl windows has the shortest lifespan, wood and fibreglass the longest. If your windows are older than 15 years old it is time to start paying attention.
DO I NEED TO REPLACE ALL MY WINDOWS?
You can replace any where from one to all your windows, depending on your needs. Most homeowners choose to install multiple windows at a time to save on labor and installation costs.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE MY HOME FOR REPLACEMENT WINDOWS?
Before the installation team comes in you can start by removing the blinds and curtains. You also want to remove any furniture or obstructions in proximity to your windows. Installer will bring their own tarps and drop cloths to keep debris to a minimum.
CAN IÂ INSTALL WINDOWS MYSELF?
It may seem straightforward, but the process for window installation is detailed and meticulous. The windows need to go in square and level. And any miss measurement or missed steps could render your window useless. You could also damage your home. Working with a professional window installation team is best.
